It’s been a good day for learning here. I discovered both the term papercraft and the character Link (whom I’d never heard of previously*) from the popular video game The Legend of Zelda. Papercrafter Haywan, the creator of this amazing life-size paper model, took a 3-D computer generated character, rendered it in detail to 2-D on paper, and then re-assembled its intricate pieces in 3-D once again in the real world. That’s impressive handiwork!
*It’s true, I never played the game as a lad.

Photoshop fun incorporating superheroes into well-known paintings. Check out Marvel’s similar mashup of canvas art with Wolverine.
