A Carnegie Mellon project that fuses art and politics to open “Conflict Kitchens,” featuring cuisine from countries with which the U.S. has less than stellar relations. Kubideh Kitchen in Pittsburgh is the first Conflict Kitchen, and it features Iranian takeout such as the tasty looking kubideh sandwich featured below.

I seem to be on a cooking kick lately. These look tasty… now I’m craving curry!
I’ve seen this video from the Simply Sara online cooking show all over the net. Sara specializes in simple fare, the sort of homestyle cooking that many of us were raised on. This dish, Wanda’s Macaroni Salad, looks like it might be worth a try.
